Workshops

I run regular workshops based at my location in Cardiff where I introduce the history of mail and show examples of mail from different historical periods, guide you through how to make mail from wire and show you how to weave and rivet a sample of mail together to take home.

In addition to my regular workshops in Cardiff, I am available to run workshops tailored to your needs, ranging from 45-minute mail making workshops for the public at sites such as Chepstow Castle through to a full day workshop at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.

Demos

As a member of Heritage Crafts and one of only a handful of mail makers working professionally in the UK I actively promote the craft to the public. I am available to demonstrate the craft at heritage and craft events and have done so at a wide range of sites and events such as Butser Farm, Chepstow Castle, St Fagans National Museum of History, Craft Festival Wales, ShedFest, Newport Ship, Treehouse Festival and many more.

I have also publicised the craft through radio interviews on BBC Radio Wales and TV appearances (BBC Bargain Hunt).

I continue to make authentic armour for reenactors and museums as well as demonstrating the techniques of mail-making through workshops and events.
