Through our environment fund we want to support projects which can help mitigate the damaging effects that humans are having on the environment and contribute to a positive change both now and in the future.
The Waterloo Foundation supports two principal programmes:
Marine
Tropical Rainforest
- Stopping destructive and illegal fishing.
- Supporting sustainable and small-scale fisheries.
- Stopping deforestation of tropical rainforests.
- Supporting intact rainforests and keeping them standing.
Across both of our marine and rainforest funds, projects should demonstrate benefits to people, climate and biodiversity.
